Our Requirements: You can mail or fax over your bond, registration, social security card, drivers license, proof of auto insurance and errors/omissions insurance. All the above information is required and must be current and legible when you mail or fax it. The only insurance that is optional is the errors/omissions insurance, but it is recommended.

Getting Licensed: Contact your local County Office and they should have the paperwork for you to start the process of getting licensed as a Registered Process Server. They require a bond so you cannot have any open legal issues or felonies on your record. They also cunduct a background check with the Department of Justice and do a live scan for your fingerprints which can be done at the Sheriff's Office, Police Department or an Independent Location. You will have to research the fees and the license and bond is good for two (2) years.

Getting a Bond: The State of California requires a bond of $2,000.00 for Registered Process Servers and usually costs around $49.00 & Up, depending on the surety company that you get it through. The bond is good for two (2) years.

Upon Completion: Once you are done with the initial process of becoming a Registered Process Server then you can start working with other companies as well as our company. We will require the information we asked from you above and you will need to sign an independent contractors agreement. Once that is done we will start sending you work, as work is available in your area. Good luck and we know you can become a large part of a growing business.

Pay Scale: We offer a very lucrative pay scale for process serving and other services preformed as an independent contractor throughout California. Once you sign up online, send over your license and bond information, sign our independent contractor agreement and return the original to us we will send you over via email the pay scale via PDF file (after you sign the agreement you must make a copy of the agreement for your records, we do not supply you with a copy of the agreement after we get it back to our office). The original must be legible and hopefully you have a laser printer for quality printing. If the original is illegible then our internal process will place a hold on your status as one of our contractors until the agreement is completed properly.
